The Notre Dame Institute for Advanced Study supports research directed toward or extending inquiry on ultimate questions and questions of value. Distinguished scholars with projects that are promising as well as graduate students and those who are beginning their careers and have appropriate projects are invited to apply.
The Institute encourages fellows to include questions of value, to examine how their findings might advance ideas, and to think through implications of present behavior for the future of the world.
Fellows receive stipends up to $60,000, subsidized housing, research funding, a faculty office at the NDIAS, including computer and printer, and multiple opportunities for engagement with other scholars.
Fellowship applications and complete instructions can be found at ndias,nd.edu. Application deadline: November 1, 2012.
