The 2013 Mid-Atlantic People of Color Legal Scholarship Conference (MAPOC 2013) is fast approaching. MAPOC 2013 will be held January 25-27, 2013, at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. If you have not already done so, please save the date.
A substantial part of the conference will be devoted to hearing and critiquing works-in-progress by new and experienced scholars in an affirming, supportive and safe environment. As a side benefit, MAPOC occurs just in time to figure out if your draft article can be tweaked to be ready to submit in the February/March law review cycle or is more profitably bound to become your summer project.
