American Society of Political and Legal Philosophy Meeting to Coincide with AALS meeting in New Orleans

Announcing the upcoming meeting of the American Society of Political and Legal Philosophy on “Immigration, Emigration and Migration.” The meeting will be held just prior to the AALS annual meeting in New Orleans this year: Friday, January 4, 2013, 8 AM – 2 PM in the Westin.  Principle papers will be delivered by Judith Resnik (Law, Yale), Sarah Song (Political Science and Law, Berkeley) and Thomas Christiano, (Philosophy, Arizona).  Commentators include Adam Cox (Law, NYU) and Christian Rodriguez (Law, NYU), among other political scientists and philosophers.  Sessions will be chaired by Jeremy Waldron (Law and Politics, Oxford and NYU), Robin West, (Law, Georgetown) and Nancy Rosenblum (Government, Harvard).

The ASPLP has been bringing political scientists, philosophers and legal academics together since 1955 and publishing its annual yearbook NOMOS since that time.  Our 52nd volume, Evolution and Morality (edited by James Fleming and Sanford Levinson) is now available from NYU Press.
