Professor Kish Parella to Publish in Cornell Law Review

Washington and Lee law professor Kish Parella will have an article appear in Cornell Law Review, one of the nation’s most cited and prestigious academic legal publications.

A working version of Parella’s forthcoming article, “International Law in the Boardroom,” is available on SSRN. The article synthesizes the traditionally separate fields of public international law and corporate governance to examine how corporations use international law in board governance, decision-making, and contractual relationships. It offers three original case studies in climate change, human rights, and sustainable development to reveal incentives and mechanisms for international law compliance.

Kish Parella is a Professor of Law at W&L Law, where she teaches a range of upper level and first-year courses on corporate and transnational law topics, contracts, and torts. Her scholarship focuses on international economic law, organizational theory, and corporate social responsibility.
